YouTube has officially been voted the best invention ever (by me) and there are now a wealth of applications at your disposable that allow you to download videos from the site for keeps. YouTube Robot stands out from the pack, however, because it lets you download multiple movies simultaneously and turn them into a format compatible with your iPod, Zune or PSP.
From its gorgeous surroundings, the program lets you directly access videos by category, to view all available videos, to execute downloads and perform conversions. YouTube Robot allows you to convert FLV videos to MP4, WMV, 3GP or AVI. The formats are specially optimized so that you can convert them when and where you want.
Like other programs of its ilk, YouTube Robot allows you to simply copy the URL of the video into the app to download the movie. I was also impressed by the way it allows you to schedule downloads, giving you the power to tee up videos to be downloaded in time for you to enjoy when you get home from a busy day at work.
