If you sometimes wished you could give your mobile’s screen a bit of a face-lift then rotateMe might be able to offer some help. OK so it’s not the sexiest piece of software out there. It literally rotates your display 90 degrees. But it does what it says it does and for many applications a horizontal look can drastically improve the service. For example with maps and route planners.
Once loaded rotateMe operates at the click of a button, well two buttons. Just press ‘edit’ and ‘call’ together to flip 90 degrees and press them together again to return to a more upright position. However, be warned many applications won’t allow you to flip them sideways which really defeats the purpose of rotateMe and proves rather annoying. There is a tutorial available through the website but because the step-by-step manual takes so long you might be better off just having a play.
